| 1275400 | 2012-05-15 03:02:00 | I don't like real money in games it taints the process so the well-off can just buy the equipment. Also Diablo is for me first a great single player and then a online hack fest. Without the single player story I am not sure its worth while. |

I've been playing the Beta for a while and have the game installed and ready to go for tonight. I intend to ignore any multi-player options for now and go solo. I'm a bit sceptical about some aspects like yourself, but it won't stop me enjoying playing it through as a single player game to start with. How long it keeps me interested is another story. |

The server still tracks your progress and saves it etc. What will cause nerd rage is if the servers aren't reliable and stop people playing solo too often while they are down for maintenance or whatever. Blizzard should know how to do it though, WoW (love it or hate it) doesn't go down unexpectly very often at all. |
