| 49327 | 2002-05-17 11:03:00 | I wish to extract email addresses from my inbox with ListManager, but need to know the name of the file. I am using Outlook Express 6. Eudora and Netscape use .mbx I believe, for their inbox.Thank you most kindly for your help. Johnno | Guest (0) | ||
| 49328 | 2002-05-17 12:44:00 | Hi John I am currently looking at Outlook Express v5 and the inbox etc are stored with *.dbx extensions in a folder at: 'C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Identities\{1234567890}\Microsoft\Outlook Express' However, when you get to the Identies folder you will find it contains another folder with an ID key about 30 characters long (not the 10 digit example I've shown above) ... just open it and keep following the path. The Address Book is stored nearby in a folder at: 'C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book' as a *.wab file. I hope this remains relatively similar for version 6! Cheers. |
