| 49415 | 2002-05-18 07:53:00 | The two hardware items no longer want to co-exist happily together. Scanner works fine! Printer insists that it is off-line, and remains that way! I do get the ink levels registering. Parallel Port set to ECP. Oddly enough, the printer will print fine from another computer I have recently networked to the problem PC. So go figure !! |

| 49416 | 2002-05-18 13:13:00 | I seem to recall that when you have a printer networked you get another option to work off line under 'Start Menu/Settings/Printers' and then right click on the appropiate printer. You didn't mention what OS you are using. | Guest (0) | ||
| 49417 | 2002-05-19 01:59:00 | Sorry Mike, Win98SE, Epson 600 connected locally via parallel port, (daisy chained thru Scanner) on problem PC. Problem existed prior to networking 2nd PC. That I can Print from the 'remote' PC and not the 'local' connected one is the point that has me at a loss. thks! |
