| 49781 | 2002-05-20 10:04:00 | The find fast program is constantly accessing the hard drive so that it knows the locations of all files (stangely enough so that you can find them quickly if you need to). This puts a constant strain on lower end PC's resulting in much slower performance time. Most books certainly recommend disabling find-fast, which can also be done through the control panel. Open it up and you'll see the drives listed that it's accessing. You can delete these so that it won't!. | Guest (0) | ||
