| 49655 | 2002-05-20 01:17:00 | I've just got my pc back after getting it fixed, and ive just tried to download from the net for the first time since having it back....but i cant. Eg. i went to download Winamp, the download box came up but its a different box than before, it still gives me the options to save or open, but when i click on either of the options, nothing happens. The downloading box is behind the 'open or save' box, but it cant start downloading because when i click on either of the options,(open or save) it does nothing! When they fixed my pc, they updated my Internet Explorer and Outlook Express, both to version 6, and Ive got Windows ME. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be much appreciated. Thanks! |

| 49657 | 2002-05-20 07:55:00 | It's possible that your download settings have been changed. In Internet Explorer have a look in Tools|Options|Security|Internet|Custom Level. Scroll down and make sure File Download is enabled. OK your way out again. |
