| 49686 | 2002-05-19 23:24:00 | Does anyone know a good way to migrate your existing mail and address book from Win 98SE to Win2000 professional. I am moving to a new laptop and want to keep everything the same . Running outlook Express 5.5 with profiles thanks |

These files should be saved to a cd or tapedrive etc. Or Alternatively Outlook Express does have a export facility that you can use too..Then when you have done the new install either import or replace the new files with the dbx ones..(do a search for files with dbx extension on new machine) .On the new machine don't delete the empty dbx files, just move them to another directory incase you need them back later. Thats what I did here at work and after a while got it right. | Guest (0) | ||
