| 49612 | 2002-05-19 11:09:00 | I have a Win 98SE with PIII 800mhz with a PCI Audio FM801 sound card. With forte media as its contol program. When i updated Half-life the sound went out on it, as well as the sound icon on the task bar (by the clock) dissapeared. also i can no longer switch between 4 speaker sound & 2 speaker sound (Headphones) (it satays on 4), also the low frequency enhancement and all the other options wont change. also dxdiag show no problems cept for DirectX files 'Several files (mciqtz.drv, quartz.vxd) are beta versions, which are unsupported and could cause problems.' So how do i Get the sound icon back? (i know its easy but i cant find the option) also whats wrong with my fortemedia Q3D 2.05? thanks to anyone who helps |
