49604 2002-05-19 09:44:00 Is it possible to delete already installed themes, backgrounds, screen savers etc.if possible how?

You can also do this:

Click Start, then Settings, then Control Panel.

Then find and click Add/Remove programs. Click the Windows Set Up tab.

Scroll through the list and remove the tick next to Desktop Themes.

Click OK and re-start if it asks you too.

Jester is right about themes, however if you want to remove them completly from your HD, you will find them in folder 'plus' which is situated in the programs folder. You can delete individualy or all.

As for screensavers, and backgrounds, they are found in your windows folder, or in some cases in your system folder, which is situated in your windows folder.

Make sure you are deleting the right thing from here, as the wrong thing could cause problems for your system.

49608 2002-05-20 06:14:00 In addition to the other advice, if you have the Microsoft themes installed on your PC then you will have a Themes icon in your Control Panel.

Open that and you can change your themes in there, including deleting them (I think...).

Otherwise in Windows Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel you can have it taken off altogether.
