| 49773 | 2002-05-20 09:26:00 | I am running win98 on my PIII600. My flatmate (WinME) is connected to walkerwireless highspeed and is always online with a fixed IP. We are connected on a 2 computer LAN using a RJ45 cross-over cable. Net sharing is done via Internet Connection Sharing. On my old dial-up setup I could use winipcfg to determine my online IP for things like games and Netmeeting. Now I want to know what my IP is as I am accessing the net via the LAN connection to the host computer. |
