| 49658 | 2002-05-20 02:55:00 | I have photos arranged in folders and named by the month and year eg may 02, the computer rearranges them in alphabetical order eg april 02 dec 01. I wish to have the years and months in chronological order, can anyone advise ? | Guest (0) | ||

December=10), but then people changed things around, and the names never properly sorted alphabetically. Apart from changing the creation dates so that they can be ordered on that, the best way would be to rename them, to: YYYYmm, eg 200112 for 'Dec 01'. Don't forget to use YYYY, so you don't get a Y3K problem. (In case you have some pictures from 1999 and earlier). This will work, and will stay fixed. Messing with dates always causes problems. |
