| 49927 | 2002-05-21 06:45:00 | I have Office 2000 operating in Win 98. Whenever I try to open a Word document the process does not complete. I see a message in the bottom right of the screen 'requesting virus scan' and the only way out is Ctrl/Alt/Del and I then get the message 'system dangerously low on resources.' All my other applications open fine. What's happening and how do I fix it? | Guest (0) | ||

The fix, run a search for all Normal.dot files, when found, delete them all, shutdown and restart your PC, Word will now automatically create a new normal.dot and your problem will be solved.
