49864 2002-05-20 23:05:00 I have recently installed a new anti-virus programme.
I now have the following message appear when I switch on each day:
C:\WINDOWS\GFXACC.EXE
is Win32.Gibe.A trojan
Not restored
Is this serious and what do I do?

49866 2002-05-20 23:27:00 Doreen, This is certainly a worm/trojan. '... W32.Gibe@mm is a worm that uses Microsoft Outlook and its own SMTP engine to spread. This worm arrives in an email message--which is disguised as a Microsoft Internet Security Update--as the attachment Q216309.exe. The worm also attempts to copy itself to all locally mapped remote drives.'

If you point your browser to the following Symantec address it has instructions for removing the worm, including a removal tool
