| 50089 | 2002-05-22 03:25:00 | I have a very good friend who has Windows ME with 192MB Ram (recently upgraded from 64 to 192MB). He finds that his C:\windows\recent folder has a shortcut to what looks like every folder he has accessed since he purchased the machine about a year ago. There are hundreds of shortcuts in this folder. Does anybody know why this is happening, and /or how it may be stopped. My own machine with W98 does not have this problem Any help greatly appreciated. Rex. |

Can't remember the exact location but think it is under application data/microsoft/office/recent. Seems to ring a bell anyway. Do a search for 'recent' and you may receive a little surprise. | Guest (0) | ||
