| 50069 | 2002-05-22 00:58:00 | Hay there well the suggestions to solve the virus in my previous message was all good but im still missing alot of memory about 3 & 1/2 gb and would love 2 know as 2 where it has gone??? also in my temp folder im stuck with a temp file called ~DF821E and im sure it was part of the problem as it keeps making new temp files with the same starting letters. I cant delete the file as it says its in use and when i do manage 2 once i start my comp back up its back. Well any help again would b gr8 as 4 the scums that make these bloody viruses and worms well u know what they say what comes around goes around. | Guest (0) | ||
| 50070 | 2002-05-22 03:39:00 | Hi Alisa, one of the features of benjamin-a is that while it is resident on your system it continuously drops slightly altered copies of it'self untill it fills up your HD. Unless you can eliminate all of these copies of it you may still be infected. If you have not alresdy done so you could try reading this www.antivirus.com/vinfo/virusencyclo/ default5.asp?VName=WORM_BENJAMIN.A It explains that you must identify and delete all the variations of the worm file to regain all of the lost disc space even if the worm is no longer running it will have left it's droppings.
