50290	2002-05-23 01:45:00	anyone know where the resident icons are for My Computer, and Recycle Bin on win98 Desktop? There is a default windows icon and the link still works, just no nice icon.	Guest (0)
50291	2002-05-23 02:14:00	You should be able to change these back through the effects tab in your display properties dialogue box. (Right click desktop and select properties). Clicking the default button should restore the icons unless you have deleted them. Otherwise you can set them to something else! Matt	Guest (0)

50293	2002-05-24 23:05:00	Thanks for that. I managed to find the same as well, after all that. There was an interesting note from MS on their web site about removing the icon handler from the registry, and removing the desktop cache file. I removed the cache file but that did nothing!
