I have a P-II celeron machine (433 MHz) and has 128 mb RAM which is good enough as long as I think. not too bad !! the OS is Windows 98 Plus. 40 Gig's ATA-100 Hard-drive ! the problem is very slow booting like a slowth is walking down the street ! The bloody machine takes ages to boot up while runs all well for the applications ! don't know why? please suggest something ! Thank you ! |

| 50206 | 2002-05-22 21:21:00 | Have you got a network card in your PC. If you have make sure that it has an IP address in the network properties. Any number will do. This just stops the card from looking for a DHCP server to assign one automatically which causes bootup delays. |
