I have a HP PC running Windows 98se and sometimes instead of the screensaver appearing the screen just goes black.When I move the mouse to restore the desktop it flickers and then it's okay. |

Check your power-saving settings - the screen power-off may be (almost) the same as your screen saver activation time and the monitor is going into sleep mode b4 the screen saver activates (why have a screen saver anyway?) |
