50402 2002-05-23 20:04:00 I recieved a text HTM attachment and my browser warned me it could contain macros etc.It had already passed my McAfee virus scan.
Could it still be dangerous?

50403 2002-05-24 04:31:00 That's probably just the browser being nannyish, and reminding you that any file which is an 'executable' type can contain a virus. Why don't you save it, and look at it with a DOS editor, (or Notepad) which can't actually interpret HTML code. If it's just a redundant copy of the text email, scrap it and ask that correspondent not to waste your time. If, however, it contains code which scans your hard disk for credit card information, your internet banking files, passwords, and your address book and posts it all to www.cracker.com, say something stronger to your correspondent.
