| 50376 | 2002-05-23 10:29:00 | I have a computer that when booting up says something along the lines of spooling DMI data or DPMI data i can't remember. What do you think could be causing this problem, and what is this DMI all about? thanks in advance. |

The 'verifying dmi pool data' message is the last message from the BIOS before booting from the hard drive. I get that message every time I boot, thats why I said it was not a problem, it's not an error message per se. If your computer freezes, then you DO have a problem, could be in BIOS, boot sector, etc Type that message into Google and you will find lots of info. DPMI is completely different, = DOS Protected Mode Interface |
