50329 2002-05-23 06:23:00 I'm running out of an annual deal I took up and would like to tune-in to what is hapening out there so that I hopefully can make a good choice for the next year +

I used to have three connections with one being a 'bulk' deal - at least that way I could try the back-up ISPs to see if it was just the ISP with which I had the bulk deal .

PS: Bulk Deal = 250 hrs per mth for $25 for example

PPS: I only want about 80+ hrs per mth

I use E3 <www.e3.net.nz and find it to be very good.

With E3 have then been any periods of service degradation

Like I hear that iHug was diabolical over the Christmas hoiday period - maybe alot of their customers were on school holidays , or were playing games online over their holidays

And then Clear's performance went 'south' when they suddenly made their passwords e-mail case-sensitive (Arrogant Aussie Telstra I heard someone say)

50332 2002-05-23 12:12:00 You could try - geocities.com/newzealandisp/hp.html. I've not been there but I have seen a reference to it and I think it lists and reviews NZ ISPs. You can find lists at the Consumers' Institute, NZ Netguide and I think NZ PCWorld websites. Guest (0)

I havent looked for a while, but www.consumers.org have good comparison chart of ISPs to look at. Not sure if they review.

Cheers.
