| 50676 | 2002-05-25 07:02:00 | Been experiencing lockups on my new machine when in windows, no keyboard reponse or nothing so hit reset and then i get message: himem.sys has detected unreliable memory at address 03ffc004. xms driver not installed. Then basically windows wont load at all. This has been happening periodically for a few days now and I suspect it could be related to bad memory, if so im dissapointed as these pcs are supposed to be tested. Can anyone shed some more light on what the problem might be? pc specs: asus a7v266 athlon xp1800+ 266mb ddr century ram gf2 mx card win98se TIA. |
