| 50571 | 2002-05-24 10:04:00 | Hi I running xp and with my cd writer when I open up a music cd it shows me the tracks but they all have a size of 44kb, it plays the cd fine but if I cut and past one of these to the desktop then try to play it comes up with and error saying windows media player may not support this type etc etc?? Puzzled |

| 50573 | 2002-05-24 11:17:00 | The file that you are coping to the desktop is not the music itself, but a index file for where the track starts i think - so hence why you can't play it in media player... If you right click on the CD file and then drag it to the desktop and sellect create shortcut, you can then click on the shortcut which will play the music track it points to on the CD if the CD is in the drive... | Guest (0) | ||
