| 50513 | 2002-05-24 09:01:00 | Before you change ISP(s) i fully recomend that you borrow a friends account on another ISP for the night, you may sadly discover that your phoneline/modem/telecom in general are what is actually '****' Reading this forum, it is obvious that dial-up in general sux, particually at the moment. It would appear that the rapid growth of internet traffic in this country has been a bit too much for some of it's network structures, and everyone is effected. Paradises greatest weakness is that it is dial up. Those of us on cable-paradise, which of course bypasses the whole dial up problem, enjoy true permanant 24/7 connections that go at the speeds we expect. Dont make any permanant ISP changes untill you try some others out first! |
