50603 2002-05-24 22:08:00 Is there a program that will do this ( other than Dolby ). What I want to record isnt available on CD so that isnt an option. Guest (0)
50604 2002-05-24 23:28:00 Kevin,

I have used both Cool Edit Pro (which I prefer) and CD Spin Doctor part of Roxios Easy CD Creator but take a look at <www.pcworld.com and try one or more for yourself.

The reference came from the following page www.pcworld.com which may also be of some interest.

Cheers,

50606 2002-05-26 06:27:00 easiest thing to use i think is goldwave from goldwave.com

theres an option to remove hiss ..ive recorded some stuff from tape then used goldwave to remove the hiss. really good results ive had. ive even had friends listen to it to see if they can detect any hiss and as always they dont.

peace out
