| 50852 | 2002-05-26 08:19:00 | My new computer came with Win XP and CorelOffice 2000 preinstalled. I am not familiar with word perfect, having used MS office for some years, would you recommend me to use the star office6.0 on your April cdrom? It must be more up to date. I went to Corel web page for an update 78mgbs and got the impression that it was already outdated. Thanks Christine |

| 50853 | 2002-05-26 10:55:00 | I have been using StarOffice 5.2 for over a year now both on the Windows and Linux platforms - I find it good and quite compatible with MSOffice. The beta version will expire soon and StarOffice 6 becomes a commercial product. However you can still get the opensource version (called OpenOffice.org).
