| 50803 | 2002-05-26 02:52:00 | Greetings, all, do I contact Mike Moore or George Dubya to find out about a global template ? Word suggests that I have made alterations which affect the 'global Template'. Do I accept 'yes' or 'no'? I have no idea what a 'Global Template' is....Einstein won't go to bed without I make a decision, I'd hate to upset the Kyoto Protocol !!! Anyone help ? thanks, Bill. |

It stores preferences such as font, size of font, margins, justification etc... If you make any changes and select 'default' you will get this message. If you would like to retain any changes you made for any future documents you create then say 'yes', oherwise say 'no'. You can change things back as well, its not a one way street. The changes are stored in a document called 'normal.dot', which is a template file (hence .dot instead of .doc). George dubya may reply with any luck, will keep an eye out.... HTH TW |
