| 50765 | 2002-05-26 00:50:00 | When I recently reloaded Win 89se I entered my name which became my 'sign-on name'. I have managed to overcome the need to enter my name at each start-up but my name is still in the 'System Information' on 'Computer' as my 'Name'. My Cookies are individualy listed as <my-name@cookie-code, bla-bla>. Can anyone please advise me how I can remove 'my name' from the 'on computer as-' and also subsequently from appearing on my cookies. Best regards from Peter. |

Go to start menu, settings, control panel, user accounts and then select change account, or edit account or something like that, then it should come up with a change name option of sorts. I think this may solve cookie issues, but I'm not sure..If that doesn't work try editing your cokkie controls to block most of the annoying ones, in your internet options. Those things should solve your problems. Hope I was of some help. |
