| 50734 | 2002-05-25 22:51:00 | Hi All, I am having trouble updating McAfee virus scanner from their homepage on my ME windows system- I can download and install uopdates but when I go to scan it packs a sad and reports an error and I have to delete McAfee and reinstall it- is their a conflict and resolution or do I need to go out and buy a new virus scanner? |

| 50735 | 2002-05-26 02:42:00 | Don't know if this will be any help to you, but sometimes in the past the odd one of McAfee's weekly updates has caused me problems. Solution for me was to wait a week and try again, or use a Superdat to bypass the seemingly dodgy weekly update. I wouldn't go out and spend any $$$ just yet. |
