50723	2002-05-25 15:29:00	after installing the new generic drivers for my modem it now hisses constantly throught the modem speaker during conection, dose anyone no how to disable this irritating sound	Guest (0)
50724	2002-05-25 20:52:00	Hi there This worked for me with WindosME : Open the Control Panel, click modems,under the general tab click the properties button, then the connection tab, then finally the advanced button. In the box that says Extra Settings type in M0 ('0' being zero...)then 'ok' your way back out again. Hope this helps Cheers Lynne	Guest (0)
50725	2002-05-26 02:09:00	Using winows XP? Known problem with easy fix. Open device manager and right click your modem. Update driver and then say you want to specify location or choose from a list. Deselect all options to search and select you want to choose from a list. You will now get a list of drivers. Goto generic>fujitsu LB RW 56K E (I know this is not your modem, but it will work).
