50928	2002-05-26 19:44:00	Not sure if you are aware but.........Hotmail addresses have been put up on the open market again! A couple of weeks ago I read here that the option to 'share email addresses' had been checked by Microsoft. This explained to me why I was getting so much junk mail (mainly porn). I went in and unchecked and all was fine again. Found another porn email again so I went back to the site and found that my 'share email address' option has been checked once again. A hopeless question but is there anyway from preventing this happening again ( I can see the hotmail haters out there already with a big smirk on their faces )I have set up filters but not always successful. To uncheck this sign in to your account then , click on Options, Personal Profile and it's on the bottom there. sam m	Guest (0)
50929	2002-05-26 20:45:00	Ummmmm well I'm not a hotmail hater as I actually did have a hotmail account many moons ago but I have since switched to netscape mail and have never looked back. You dont have to have netscape as a browser to use the account and I love the 5mb account limit instead of just 1.5 The junk mail while it still does occasionally appear is very limited and nowhere close to the amounts I received from hotmail. I had junkmail in hotmail as soon as I opened the account and that was with filters and share address unticked !!	Guest (0)
