Am running Win 95 and on starting it starts loading then up comes message
'cannot find the file'remind.exe'(or one of its components).make sure the path and file name are correct and that all the required libraries are available.'
I then click ok and up comes this message headed
Desktop
'could not load or run'remind.exe'specified in the WIN.INI file.Make sure file exists or remove the reference to itin the WIN.INI file'

I think 'remind.exe' may belong to zip drive (iomega) software, have you deleted the drivers for a zip recently??

Anyway, its telling you what to do... Go to Start-Run and type sysedit in the run box.

That will open up all your .ini files in a cascaded window.

Close all but the 'win.ini' and then search for 'remind.exe' in it.

When you find the line its on, insert REM -space- at the start, save and close the edit page, restart your computer.

It would be a good idea to backup the win.ini file to a floppy before you start, just in case. If you stuff these files up you may have to resort to reloading windows.

If the file is a leftover from you deleting applications instead of uninstalling, it shows the trouble that can arise.
