1301910 2012-09-18 05:54:00 So lately my chrome browser has been playing up . First I realized my "Google Mail Checker" extension has stopped working - You click it and it takes you to gmail but won't display whether or not I have any emails unread . . It just stays greyed out with a question mark .

Also, YouTube seems to be having some problems . The 'Wide player' button no longer does anything and the time skip button also doesn't work (eg, someone comments "2:15" - when you click it it takes you up to the video but nothing happens . However, I tried loading everything in incognito, and it works . And I have also tried Firefox, and it also works there .

I have tried clearing the cache, and cookies, but the problems still exist .

Any ideas?!?

1301911 2012-09-19 08:05:00 The Mail Checker has magically fixed itself :) Now just that youtube problem... sahilcc7 (15483)
1301912 2012-09-19 12:50:00 I also have problems with Chrome on my laptop. In my case Chrome refuses to display the enlarged graphics on Trade-me. U tube is Ok. If I reinstall Chrome it is normal for a couple of days then reverts to the same behavior. Firefox, IE9 & Opera 12 are normal. mzee (3324)
1301913 2012-09-19 13:00:00 Its probably a chrome prob. If every other browser is fine. I would look here, or join it (productforums.google.com). IMO, I wouldnt use it at all. Its got too many probs and bugs. btw another version of flash is out now 11.4.402.278. So, I would try updating that, if your version of flash is old Speedy Gonzales (78)
1301914 2012-09-20 04:56:00 @mzee - you were right :D It's come back to normal now, but I'm considering going to firefox if this happens again. I just like the way chrome syncs with all my different devices. sahilcc7 (15483)
1301915 2012-09-20 05:28:00 I've had such a problem before, sometimes it's because you have too many extensions and it just glitches out chrome. If you have the problem again just delete all the extensions. Nikit07 (16761)
1301916 2012-09-20 05:47:00 I only have about 4 extensions. sahilcc7 (15483)
1301917 2012-09-20 05:49:00 oh... Well then I can't help you then but try anyway Nikit07 (16761)
1301918 2012-09-20 06:23:00 Just a comment here.
I have a laptop dual booted with Vista & Linux.
I am lately finding the chrome browser on Linux is more reluctant to go on line than the OE on Vista.
