The Govt hasnt got enough income as it is (just a wee understatement) so...Sell our money making assets, use the $$ to buy more stuff that wont generate real income huh ?? |

2012-05-21 04:24:00 | And in Saturdays paper they admitted it was going to cost $120million in consultants fees to get the assets ready to sell, to me the maths don't stack up either | gary67 (56) | |
2012-05-21 04:30:00 | Isn't there a petition going around to try and force the Gum'nt to stop the sales ... or a referendum ... or something ?? You can bet your ar$e John Key and his mates will buy up REAL big ... they know bloody well the SOE's that are being put up for sale are profitable ... just another way to rip the average Kiwi worker off. Not that there's going to be many of us left going by these (nz.finance.yahoo.com) figures ... last one to leave flick the switch please !

2012-05-21 04:46:00 | And they also have the cheek to encourage councils to do the same  At least Len Brown is listening to Auckland's wishes and refusing to sell unless the public want to.

2012-05-21 05:23:00 | Suppose Key will be able to take up shares in the three companies as an individual ?. He could make quite a killing with his $70m. Or would it be a conflict of interest ?.

2012-05-21 06:04:00 | When the assets sale hikoi arrived in Wellington a couple of weeks ago Key was asked if that would change Nationals views on selling the assets and he said hell no over 1 million people voted us in to sell the assets. :)
