Start documenting all your issues, connection speeds, speed tests, calls to help desk etc.
This will make it easier for you to terminate the contract if you can prove they have provided a descent service.

1276825 2012-05-23 23:58:00 I hear you Metla. I had the very same issues a year ago bud. My old provider made me buy a new modem/router convincing me it was at fault, $130.00 later I still had the same pitiful speeds and eventually got into the market for a new provider.

I pay more now, that is for sure, and I am happier than ever. For $99.00 a month I get full speed, yes real, true full speed (10-12mbps down - all the time!), 60gig data allowance and a telephone connection.

This may not help your query, but I thought it is good to know there are some ethical providers, fully based in NZ, still out there. Link: http://www.actrix.co.nz/
