1301672 2012-09-18 05:36:00 If you can I would suggest that you backup your system to another HDD or partition so that you don't have to go through this all again if you have a problem.

You could always copy the download files to a flashdrive so that you do have them handy.

free anti virus to put on it.thank you so much again. it help alot i have been at this thing for three days and now it works

1301674 2012-09-18 05:58:00 Speedy has recomended Microsoft's Microsoft Security Essentials. Go to Microsoft and look for their antivirus and down load it. It is considered to be one of the most recomended unless you want to spend money on ESET's NOD32 version 5. Bryan (147)

1301678 2012-09-18 08:25:00 504 MB RAM is less than the minimum required to effectively run Windows XP. Especially if you put SP3 on it.

Better start thinking about a new computer I think. But in the meantime put MSSE on it as speedy says.
