| 1301971 | 2012-09-20 00:16:00 | A lil' feedback. XP needs static IP to work. Win7 doesn't. The Firewall issue is maybe Win7 (and Vista perhaps) cos the crossover is initially seen as a untrusted public network so FW prevents it .. |

If you are talking about Windws 7 you can change what you have now. in the control panel, open Network and sharing, Where it shows your Network, is a link, click that and it allows you to change it. | wainuitech (129) | ||

Cannot change it. It's just black. I forced it to be a "Work network". It's black. Before it was just "Public network" - again black. I can change my Wifi connection thou or if it's network cable to router/switch , it's blue, I can click it. |
