| 1301572 | 2012-09-19 00:46:00 | I would be concerned about a RAM fault... how many passes did memtest do, and presumably the windows 8 memory diagnostic returned no error? | inphinity (7274) | ||
| 1301573 | 2012-09-19 03:03:00 | I only let the first memtest do 2 passes. 1st fail and 2nd pass. Yep the windows memory diagnostic ran once and said no errors after it booted back into windows. Should i run memtest for longer? How many passes is a good number? |

| 1301574 | 2012-09-19 03:24:00 | www.tomshardware.com One poster there suggests it may be a fault in the memory controller in the CPU. I don't know how you could confirm that short of replacing the CPU. |

| 1301577 | 2012-09-19 05:09:00 | Yep I've RMA'd the ram. One stick caused errors in intel burn test and linx whereas the other stick passed perfectly fine. Im stumped as to why memtest and windows memory diagnositc passed the faulty stick though... |
