Moon (the one with Sam Rockwell) Serenity Alien Earth Girls are Easy (so bad its good, ok you have to be drunk to appreciate it) Gattaca Logans Run i note there are NO ET or "close encounters" in there which I have never seen? but i would assume would be, same goes for the old movies, Earth stood still, Bodysnatchers etc |

| 1277249 | 2012-05-24 23:54:00 | 7. Wall-E 10. Iron Man, Thor, The Avengers Not sure those 2 are scifi, I would rate original Star wars above those :p But thats just me Can we have a list without Forbidden Planet ?? Plan9 From outer Space for the worst 10 But gotta love this comment on the original 'Stuff" list "Stuff you so dumb. May as well chuck Titanic in there, seeing as we are ignoring genres." |

| 1277250 | 2012-05-25 00:36:00 | Sci-Fi and fantasy gets lumped together all the time which annoys me, technically Sci-Fi is a sub category of Fantasy and not the other way round. I generally consider super hero movies as just action movies although they also tend to have sci-fi and fantasy elements. Off the top of my head I would go for; serenity Pitch Black Fifth Element Alien Star trek series (can't pick one so they all get 1 spot) Aliens Star Wars (all 6 of them, someone has to like the new ones :P) Bicentennial Man A.I. Blade Runner The more time I think about it the more the list will change, I'm hoping Prometheus finds a spot on it later this year and must confess to enjoying the dumbed down action sci-fi movies like cowboys and aliens and John Carter of Mars quite a lot. Don't be afraid of the dark I quite like also. |
