| 51168 | 2002-05-28 00:30:00 | Hi Heather I have seen similar problems, arising when a 'soft' modem (internal PCI Win Modem) is being used. The OS seems to lock at the moment of disconnection. Is this your case or has the modem already disconnected. If not, try finding later drivers for your modem. Otherwise its likely your browser, as thats the other common factor for having used the internet. Try updating to IE6, or reloading IE6. HTH TW |

| 51169 | 2002-05-28 13:54:00 | Hi Heather, I use 98se as well and sometimes find if I'm too quick shutting'puta'down after spot of web surfing that everything freezes and I have to do 'Hard shutdown'(switch power off at wall)nasty!!!so I try to take my time between log off net and shutdown. |
