51434 2002-05-29 10:40:00 The reason why it wont clear out the old info is because explorer is freezing (i push ctrl + alt + del and ir comes up explorer [not responding])

anyone know why??

51435 2002-05-29 11:00:00 The freezing may be caused by spyware, running adaware (www.lavasoft.de) on your system will remove it.

As for your resources, they aren't what they sound like, they are a left over from windows 3.0.

Have a look here for more info:

The only real fix is to avoid programmes that leak them and/or ditch windows 9x. Failing that reboot.

I'm not sure if this will help, but to clear anything in your RAM (and free up memory) there is a programme called 'RAMpage'. This programme displays the amount of free memory available and runs in the system tray. It's quite useable really and by double clicking on it (in the system tray) it frees up memore to a predetermined amount.

I'm not sure where to download this programme from as it was e-mailed to me by a friend, but I guess if you go to www.cnet.com or to www.download.com (which I think is part of zdnet you could run a search for it.
