| 51374 | 2002-05-29 03:39:00 | Can anyone tell me if there is good program out there that will help me recover files from a hard drive that has the NTFS type of partitioning and had Windows XP running on it? There is a program thats called 'lost and Found' but as far as I'm aware, that will only work with Fat or Fat32 partitions. Thanks Paul |

If the files are REALLY important, it may be more worth your while to stop using the drive altogether, and give a place called Computer Forensics a call - they specialise in data recovery off dead drives, or of deleted files etc. This would be the safest, yet probably most expensive, method available to you. Mike. |
