You don't mention what OS you are using but assuming Win95 or later Config.sys will be hidden in C:\ .You usually don't need to put anything in this file. Open up Explorer and go to 'View/Options' and click on 'Show all Files'. Then in C:\ 'Shift/Right Click' on Config.sys and choose Open With and when open put 'Rem ' infront of Line 14 with Display.sys on it. This will disable the line and dos driver and Win95 or later should install its own driver. I hope this helps. |
