51330 2002-05-28 21:47:00 Does anyone get this alarm often, anytime, anyday, upto 40 times in 10ish seconds?

The firewall has blocked Internet access to your computer (ICMP Unreachable) from the limited broadcast address (255.255.255.255).

If so what does it mean?? and is it slowing my IE experience...?

51331 2002-05-28 22:24:00 I remember this question coming up not long ago. Try a search for 255.255.255 and see if it comes up. Guest (0)
51332 2002-05-29 02:56:00 I seem to remember getting this IP address as soon as I installed ZA sometime ago, if I remember right I simpply blocked it always. Does not seem to have had any ill effect.

If you have already been blocking it each time it has popped up and you have not noticed anything wrong as a result, then I would be inclined to just block it always.

51333 2002-05-29 04:01:00 Yes, thank you Susan B there was a lot written about it recently, so i'm glad i'm not the only one. Not sure what it all means as it's over my head, so I'll do as you suggest, Gorden and keep blocking it!
thanks guys...
