| 51328 | 2002-05-28 21:38:00 | We have just recovered from a virus and have found that all our Word 2000 documents have converted themselves to Wordpad documents. If you open thru My Docs it opens in wordpad. However, if you open Word first and then open the file, it will open in word (though the icon still shows as wordpad). Even if you try and re-save and confirm it as a word document, it still saves as Wordpad. Any help is very much appreciated. Thank you. Regards, Lynda |

| 51329 | 2002-05-28 22:22:00 | You have re-associate your Word files with Word again. In Windows Explorer right-click on a Word file, choose Open With and scroll down until you see Word. Select it, put a tick in 'Always use this application' and click OK. Note: if right-clicking does not produce Open With, then hold down Shift and right-click. |
