51393 2002-05-29 04:52:00 Just got hooked up for Jetstream at home, now I've found the XP drivers for this modem (DSL-On software useless, rejects my advances right away), and all I can get is ADSL State: Detecting, two red lights on my status monitor, and advice from my ISP to 'try another modem', ie not a Nokia. Anyone had better progress with XP than this? Guest (0)

51395 2002-05-29 07:12:00 Not sure if this applies to nokia internal adsl modems but it definetly does apply to other internals. Make sure you set the protocol to 2364 (PPPoA) and that your VCI value is 100. Guest (0)
51396 2002-05-30 00:09:00 I had the same problem with a Ni 200 running Win ME.

Those settings you have listed are a must for anything positive to happen.

51397 2002-05-30 00:16:00 Uh, okay, could someone explain compatibility mode?

Also, I don't have the original CD (part of why I got a good deal from Dick Smith's) - just the DSL-On software & drivers downloaded from www.dsl.nokia.co.nz, plus the XP drivers from www.nzdsl.co.nz...dunno if that's going to be a problem.

Might try to find the drivers for the Dynalink as someone else suggested, too - any ideas of where I can get those?
