| 51594 | 2002-05-30 09:56:00 | I'm having difficulty getting the 'assign macro' box to appear when I have placed a button on a worksheet. I can create the macro ok. I can get the button to appear on the worksheet but I can't get the assign box to appear so as I can link the macro to the button??? Any help will be appreciated. Many thanks. Chris |

Make sure that the macro button tool you are using is from Commands/Forms and is called Button. Right click the tool bar and select Customise to do this and drag this button onto the tool bar and select this button to draw the macro button on the worksheet. HTH |

Right click the button and you should get a pull down menu which includes the Assign Macro option also options for formating and moveing etc |

I was trying to get the 'Control Toolbox' icons to do what I should have been using the 'forms' buttons for. Thanks again. Chris. |
