51534 2002-05-30 02:51:00 Hi yah poeople,

Under Windows Explorer, C:/ Windows, I have a Folder called 'Profiles' Can anyone tell me what its for and do I need it.
Some of it as follows:
C: Windows/Profiles/then two Folders ie: Dave000 and Dave Eaton.
Under Dave000:
Application Data/Cookies/Desktop/History/NetHod/Recent/StartMenu.
Then under Application Data/Identities/Microsoft/Sysmantec/{483DAFAC-337DDF5A3E93}Microsoft/Outlook Express/VBE.
The only Folder to have any thing in it is VBE, (MSForms.exd).
Under Identities/{56364334-9530-11D2-BFFC-00CD04FA3229AA}.
Under Microsoft/Address Book/HTML Help/Installer/Internet Explorer/INTRO/Media Catalog/System Certificates.
By now who ever is reading this probably understands where I'm comming from, but if more is required let me know.
Under Dave Eaton:
All seem to be the same as above in Dave000.

Please advise.

51535 2002-05-30 03:27:00 Profiles - usually associated with NT, 2000 and XP. Also domains. Multiple profiles apply to computers that require logons.

Files containing individual settings for specific users of a single computer or users in a domain.

Can be used to restrict access to drive areas or software applications.
