TRhe reason is, is the explorer keeps freezing, does anyone know why it does???

51498 2002-05-30 08:53:00 Have you tried windows update its free, and will fix many known problems.

In IE click on tools>windows update then in window click product updates.

More info would have helped (version of IE, Operating system etc) but there were many such problems with early releases of IE 5 and probably other versions before and after.

My experience was to update the version of IE by installing a newer one off a CD from PC World or similar.

If you have Windws 98 or later then use IE6, else look for a copy of IE 5.5

TNT2 Ultra (crap i know but it works better on tribes 1 :))
FM 801 soundcard

BTW Internet explorer isnt freezing its 'explorer'

format c:

put (any) linux cd, restart, install (accept defaults), reboot, log on. you may have some issues with that sound card though.

no more freezing, ever!
