| 51497 | 2002-05-29 23:15:00 | I posted the 'How do I empty User, system & GDI resources?' TRhe reason is, is the explorer keeps freezing, does anyone know why it does??? thanks to the 2 people who helped on the previous one. |

| 51499 | 2002-05-30 09:02:00 | Hi Daniel More info would have helped (version of IE, Operating system etc) but there were many such problems with early releases of IE 5 and probably other versions before and after. My experience was to update the version of IE by installing a newer one off a CD from PC World or similar. If you have Windws 98 or later then use IE6, else look for a copy of IE 5.5 TW |

| 51500 | 2002-05-31 08:01:00 | I have ie6.02... the latest updates from windows updates. have a Win98SE PIII 800 128 ram TNT2 Ultra (crap i know but it works better on tribes 1 :)) FM 801 soundcard BTW Internet explorer isnt freezing its 'explorer' thanks for the help though! |

| 51501 | 2002-06-01 10:03:00 | easy: format c: put (any) linux cd, restart, install (accept defaults), reboot, log on. you may have some issues with that sound card though. no more freezing, ever! |
