I have win95 and IE 5.5. My computer regularly locks up when i use the scroll bar to scroll down on a web page. Can anyone please give me any suggestions to prevent this from happening? Is it a memory thing? ive only got 32meg ram but i thought that this is sufficient to surf the net. |

Try running windows update.
If this doesn't work. look for updated versions of your video driver. If you can't find any, and you have your video driver - select vga as your video and see if the PC still locks up - that will see if it is the video card |

In my early days of surfing this used to happen all the time until I learnt to just have one or two sites open at the time and clear out Temp. files and History often. Don't let zillions of sites build up on the left of the taskbar. |
