| 51558 | 2002-05-30 06:36:00 | can you please help me . i have the remnant of a virus that wont go away. every time i start my computor i get a message that reads, ( cannot find the file open me exe or one of its components make sure the path & file are correct & that all reqired libraries are avaliable ) this message goes away by hitting ok but returns when i start up my computor. if anyone can help i would be grateful.thanks |

| 51559 | 2002-05-30 11:39:00 | Check the files in C:\ 'autoexec.bat & Config.sys' and in C:\Windows 'Win.ini & System.ini' . In one of those files, I suspect Win.ini, will be a line refering to the offending program. It would be worth getting RegClean to tidy up the registry. | Guest (0) | ||
